Book to Movie Wishlist! tag

Book to movie tag!

Today I’m going to do the book to movie wish list tag. Now if you don’t know what that is. It’s basically my wish list of books that I want to be made into a movie. Easy enough right? Let’s start!

With the first book, I’ll have to start with The night circus by Erin Morgenstern.

This is not only my favourite book but also an amazing novel. And I know what people are going to say “Jolien they already have the rights for making the movie and are already busy.”  Well they have been busy for nearly 1 and a half years now. So, I’m not sure about what is happening right now. I just hope I get to see the movie once. I also really would love to see how they are going to get the two stories entwined together in the end, like that would be cool. And also the actors, I really want to know the actors and who plays who.

The second book that I really want to be made into a movie is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

I’m not only talking about the first book I mean all the books. To me this is a book that you can hardly mess up when you make it into a movie. There is not a lot that is difficult to screen. I’m just really excited to see how they are going to do this whole competition, and of course I would love to see the actors with his one as well, and hoping that they look the same as I imagined them to. (This never really happens but I can dream.) I would love to just see all the fighting and training happen. This book will definitely make a beautiful movie.

The third books that I want to be made into a movie is The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare.

I know, I know. The Mortal instruments had one movie and didn’t sell, or wasn’t good enough so they didn’t make any others. But to be honest, I find the Infernal Devices, a total different story compared to the TMI series. And yes they are in the same world and have the same kind of knowledge. It still sets in a different time and when you look at the date of the TMI movie (2013) I think they should be able to make it look better with the knowledge that we have now today. I just think this series would look really cool when made into a movie.

The last book that I want to be made into a movie is Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell.

I heard some speculations about this book and about it turning into a movie, but I don’t know if that is actually still happening. I hope so. I would really love to see this book into a movie, because of the cute romance, same goes for Fangirl. (same author) And I just love the character development in the book, and I really wonder is producers are really able to get that on screen beautifully. Also I really wonder how they are going to do the ending. Because as many of you know Eleanor & Park doesn’t really have a clear ending, and it leaves you on the edge of your seat to know what the ending was. But how are they going to screen that? I really wonder.

Anyway, that was it for today. I really wonder what you guys thought of my choices, and if you have any books that you would like to see in a movie format, please let me know, I’d love to know!
This was all for today, I hope you have a wonderful day and see you on Monday again! ♥

  1. I think Fangirl would make a great movie! And I love to see a movie of Eleanor & Park as well :)
